Trop Club Grill And Gaming

Mannie did an amazing job with this, very flavorful. I’ll update later to get the name for it. I requested a lavender lemon drop but, her touch made it nicely.

Cool place The Trop Club (short for Tropic). Small but intimate. Grilled shrimp was great, $10 for 10 big ones. Good, friendly service and one strong point is you are greeted and your order is taken the minute you arrive. This is a nice gem if you are looking for a cocktail. I do not recommend the beer since only three on tap and bottles were too pricey. Removing one star because $10/mixed drink is too much for the area. Should be about $2 less per drink. Weird comment, but I have to say, this place features the most immaculate bathroom I have ever seen at a bar.

Delicious food - worth the small bit of wait! Clean and welcoming. But again, the food! We got the chicken quesadillas and hubby also had the jalapeño poppers which he loved - messy but tasty he said

Great little spot to grab drinks with unique menu options. Raul makes some of the best food in the Rockford area. They offer shrimp as well as some of the best burgers in town, my personal favorite is the Charlemagne burger. The bartender Brian also makes great drinks and the owner is always very nice whenever I see him. I highly recommend this place and come here often when I want good food at a reasonable price and strong drinks.

I must say the burgers we had .. soooo DELICIOUS!!!! I asked for a Martini. I took a bite of the olive and it was really bad. I took a sip off my drink and it was really really disgusting. I think the Vermouth he used was not good at all. I did tell him. I did not ask for top shelf and he charged me $6 for the martini and $3 for top shelf. I ordered another drink and it had top shelf vodka-I did asked this time So.. there was 2 separate charges on my bill.. $6 for martini the other $3 for top shelf--which I never asked for it on my first drink. My drink w/top shelf was $6 I asked why all these charges he said he had too. We paid the bill and left. Then I remembered he did not returned my card I could understand if it was packed but there was 4 people. 2 of them.. us. I went back. He looked at me..I said you kept my card. He said "Oh" and gave me my card. Again the food was delicious but the bartender...

My daughter and I stopped in for brunch. We were very hungry and actually heading to the Pho place next door when we saw the brunch and Mimosa sign in front of Trop U-turn in the parking lot! Glad we did! We had the quinoa bowl, spinach and feta omelet and of course mimosas! AMAZING! The food was fantastic. That quinoa salad was so refreshing, and I've had the best omelet in my life there. Olivia was our server and she was just lovely. We are vegetarian and the had a few options for us. The chef said next weekend he will make black bean vegetarian burgers for brunch special. So excited and thankful that this establishment is willing to change and add options for us. Highly recommended!!!

Visited Trop Club for the first time today with my husband and teenage son. The food was delicious, portions were large, and everything was reasonably priced. We all left with leftovers! I recommend the cheese curds, they were amazing and on our table within a few minutes of ordering. The bar and grill had a great atmosphere, not too loud, and plenty of TVs for all of the college basketball games. Our waitress was friendly and service was great. We will definitely go back!
